How powerful is the Wagoneer?

There is no more powerful SUV on the market than the 2023 Wagoneer. The first couple of trims come standard with a 5.7-liter V8 which delivers drivers an impeccable 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. If you decide on one of the higher trims, you will be treated to a new engine: a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder giving you an exceptional 420 horses and 468 lb-ft of torque. The Wagoneer refers to this engine as the Hurricane, and it comes with an engine-mounted charge cooler with a dedicated cooling circuit that cools off the engine if it gets too hot. This engine also comes with an eight-speed automatic transmission. Towing is beyond impressive for the Wagoneer, as it can haul up to 10,000 pounds when properly equipped.

Advanced Wagoneer Tech

Every single trim level of the Wagoneer is loaded with tech, including a standard heads-up display, a 10-inch full-color display, and a fully digital rearview mirror that will provide drivers with an unobstructed view improves your range of visibility. Also standard is a 10.25-inch digital cluster with two dozen customizable menus giving you five reconfigurable titles for at-a-glace data so you can access the most used information. Then there is the digital rearview mirror offers video in real-time straight from the forward-facing camera, which has an unobstructed view. In addition, interior mood lighting comes with two zones and many different colors, including white, blue, aqua, gold, and amber, all selectable via the touchscreen. Last but not least, is the latest version of the Uconnect system, which has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, simultaneous phone charging, up to five user profiles, expanded connected services, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot. Standard on higher trims is the wireless charging pad.

Is the Wagoneer safe?

The Wagoneer is sharp-looking, powerful, and safe! Numerous safety systems available for the 2023 Wagoneer will keep you and your family safe as you traverse the open road. Standard is a Forward Collision Warning that warns you when you are about to get into a head-on collision with visual and audio cues and will even apply the brakes if you cannot. Also standard is an Automatic Emergancy Braking with Pedestrian/Cyclist detection that will warn you when another person is walking or biking in your lane and will apply the brakes when a collision is imminent. Finally, we have to talk about the Blind Spot Monitor with Rear-Cross Traffic Alert, which checks the areas around the Wagoneer for vehicles and other objects so you know when it will be safe to make a lane change.
